Each participant will be given a CD and an unofficial paper copy (printed by CNES as in Liverpool) will be provided.
Language
The working language of the symposium will be English. For each paper presented orally, 15 minutes are allocated for presentation followed by 5 minutes for discussion. Authors are requested to strictly observe this limitation to assist with the smooth running of the symposium. Posters will be displayed during the whole symposium in the exhibition area.Symposium Fee
The registration fee (including cocktail reception and symposium dinner but excluding travel, accommodation and other expenses) is €550 + VAT (20%). Note: The registration fee will be €550 + VAT (20%) for delegates who register after 31st July 2009. This fee covers access to all presentations, poster and exhibition area, proceedings, lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail reception, symposium dinner, buses to and from the industrial visits and if required buses to and from the symposium dinner, which will be held at the Vienna Technisches Museum.VAT at 20% is payable by all delegates, irrespective of their nationality. Delegates or their companies registered with the Austrian Customs and Excise for VAT may reclaim the VAT through their normal channels.
The symposium fee does not include accommodation and travel and delegates are responsible for any costs incurred in respect to travel and accommodation.
Block bookings of local hotels have been made in various price categories. Links to hotels are available on the 'About Vienna' page as well as further information on transport etc. Please note that demand for hotel accommodation in downtown Vienna is extremely high in September, and therefore early reservation before July 2009 is highly advisable.
Registration
Authors, exhibitors and participants are requested to register for the symposium on-line as early as possible to assist with the co-ordination of the symposium. This site will be open for registration early in 2009.Registration at the venue, on arrival, can be made on Tuesday 22nd September at The Herrensaal is opposite to the Palaisbetween 17:00 and 19:00 or from 08:30am onwards at the Palais Ferstel on each day of the conference.
Catering
Lunch will be a buffet served in the area next to the Auditorium. Coffee breaks will be held in the poster and exhibition area.
Poster Display Space
Posters will be displayed throughout the three days of the Symposium. Poster sessions are planned during the coffee beaks. Authors of poster presentations will have the possibility to set up their posters on the morning of the first day of the Symposium.Maximum dimensions: Height 1.1 m, width 0.8 m.

Exhibition Space
Throughout the duration of the Symposium there will be a range of exhibition areas to hire. Delegates who wish to exhibit should book their stand via this website as soon as possible. There are 10 exhibition stands remaining, which cost €200 + VAT each.Sponsors
