Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We collect information about you for 2 reasons:
  • To process your order and
  • To provide you with the best possible service.
We will only use your email address to provide you with information relating to the symposium. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:
  • your name
  • address
  • phone number
  • email address
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. Completion of an order form implies that we may store the information provided on the order form for the purpose of organising the symposium and normal company records.

The information we hold will be accurate and as up to date as the latest information provided. You may request to see the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.

We will not divulge your email address to a third party without your consent. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include the use of a "cookie" which will be stored on your browser. You can modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way could be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Accessibility

This site has been designed to be compliant with the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium - www.w3c.org) recommendations for web site accessibility and has been validated against their requirements for XHMTL 1.0 and CSS to ensure accessibility to as wide a range of users and devices as possible. To assist users with impaired vision the font sizes may be altered using the buttons along the top of each page or via the text size changes option incorporated into your browser, although with this latter option there will be some loss in layout structure.

This site has been labelled by ICRA (www.icra.org).

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the date of the symposium. In which case there will be a 20% handling fee to cover the cost of processing your order and refunding your money. After this period refunds will not be available. Change of delegates' names maybe undertaken for a €30 handling fee.

It is your responsibility to cancel any hotel or travel arrangements you will have made.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights and is in addition to protection afforded you in law.
